Frank’s Diary — Entry #1107 - Earl Grey Tea
Earl Grey Tea - The aristocrat of the tea cabinet.
Black tea with bergamot oil—like a tuxedo with a citrus pocket square and tons of unapologetic attitude. I felt like I should be solving mysteries in a velvet armchair - a blood red one.
The scent? Regal.
The taste? Bold, brisk, and slightly perfumed—like a handshake from someone who owns a monocle. It’s the kind of tea that insists you sit up straight.
Pairs well with scandalous novels, foggy mornings, and unsolicited philosophical debates.
I tried adding milk once - It judged me.
Legend says it was gifted to a British Prime Minister by a grateful Chinese mandarin.
Frank says it was invented by a citrus-loving cat with a flair for diplomacy and quiet judgment.
Either way, it’s tea with a title. I respect its legacy.
I fear its ability to make me speak in iambic pentameter.
I once called it “fancy breakfast tea,” and It hasn’t spoken to me since.
