English Breakfast Tea. Bold. Brisk. The kind of tea that shows up early, wears a tie, and doesn’t apologize for its caffeine content.

I drank it and felt like I should be reading the newspaper. Not online. The real one. With ink. I considered investing in a monocle.

Then I spilled the cup and blamed colonialism.
