The human brewed the French Roast today- Deep. Dark. Daring.

The beans glistened like they’d just come back from a spa. Bold flavor. Rich body. Bittersweet like my feelings about Mondays.

Low acidity, which means I didn’t immediately spiral into philosophical despair. It tasted like chocolate had a secret, and smoke was in on it.

I sipped. I brooded. I briefly considered writing poetry.Then I knocked over the mug and blamed the existentialism.
