Mint

The humans brewed mint coffee today.

It’s like my tongue took a brisk walk through a herb garden, then belly-flopped into a hot tub of espresso.

Unexpected. Invigorating. Slightly flirtatious.

I licked the rim of the mug. Twice.

Then I stared at the wall for 47 minutes wondering if I’ve changed… or if the coffee changed me.
